Welcome to my newest series of sculptures. These are all experimental pieces using a lost foam method of sand casting. Each one is a highly unique, original artwork which cannot be reproduced. It's one and done. I'm incorporating organic elements such as wood and agave leaves into the metal casting which determine the flow of metal and along with the gases produced, create unique patterns and patinas. I also am experimenting with borosilicate glass to add color and light. This is new art creation territory, so hop on for the ride...
